✞   ✞   ✞   Another Redeemer pioneer family was George Maurer(1863-1945) and his wife Margaretha nee Engelmann(1870-1946), both buried in Redeemer Cemetery. Next generation members of two closely related branches of the Maurer family also attended Redeemer, Jacob Maurer and his wife Martha nee Senft, and Ludwig Maurer and his wife Margaretha nee Bauer. The Maurer families emigrated from the Galician villages of Dobrohostow and Uliczno in the early 1900's. Their origins in Germany are not known at this time.   ✞   ✞   ✞
